Why is an influencer important?

By marketingturnaround

Don’t forget about influencers.  An influencer is important to your effort to turn your marketing around in 30 days because they’re the ones that nudge decision-makers one way or the other.

For example, a department head may be the one who makes the final decision on the choice of a consulting company, but key employees are likely to share their opinions and priorities, which may influence the choice one way or the other even though the employees are not part of the formal review process.

Tip #10:  Who are the invisible influencers in your sales process?  How do they form their opinions and where do they get their information?

If you can influence an influencer, you may bend the boss’ ear and improve the odds that your product will be selected.
